Performance physical therapy is rehabilitation that goes above and beyond the bare minimum and is designed with the athlete and active individual in mind. Performance physical therapy involves the use of advanced technologies, training modalities, and equipment to augment traditional rehabilitation methods so that you don't just return to sport, you return to PERFORMANCE. Unlike many other physical therapy clinics, all of our in-person sessions are one-on-one and we provide significant inter-session planning and support to maximize progress.

Performance Coaching

Performance coaching focuses on maximizing one's performance by building up an individual's general robustness along with specifically addressing the greatest limiting factors to their most important goals.

Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy

Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach Specialist

USA Weightlifting Level 2 Coach

I am Sports Physical Therapist who believes that there is a better way to do physical therapy. I believe that consistency, planning, and doing the fundamentals well are the keys to a successful rehab outcome.

I’ve worked with high level athletes during my time at University of Rochester Medical Center and has collaborated with rehabilitation professionals from across professional and collegiate sports including the NBA and the MLS.

I have helped swimmers, football players, wrestlers, track and field athletes, cross country runners, cyclists, soccer players, basketball players, lacrosse players, bodybuilders, powerlifters, CrossFit athletes and Olympic weightlifters all return to sport and performance.

I have a special interest in treating Olympic weightlifters and utilizing frameworks for returning to the snatch and clean and jerk after shoulder surgery. I mainly enjoy treating knee and shoulder conditions. My treatments are rooted in the fundamentals: establishing a good understanding of the problem, utilizing accurate testing, and designing a plan that is consistently implemented. I apply isometric and isokinetic testing methods to inform the rehabilitation approach. I am a board certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) and was residency trained at University of Rochester Medical Center.
